Niki’s Pizza

Nikis frontI’ve always said that the dough and the sauce are what makes a pizza…Well, this place “brings it!” Noted as serving “Real Italian pizza”, I don’t doubt it for a second. Located at 508 N. Bell Blvd. in Cedar Park tucked right in between Whataburger and Supercuts, this place is a real find. Whether you are looking for straight up slices of pie, pasta or chicken specialties, or just going for a calzone or sub, this place is a must try!

Nikis pizza slicesUpon entering, the establishment was clean yet unassuming. For a smaller place they have a huge menu of items from which to choose – appetizers, salads, pasta, subs, specialties and desserts. They offer lunch specials as well as pizza by the slice and whole pizza’s. Lunch specials served between 11-3pm and come with garlic bread, salad and a drink. I ordered 2 slices and a drink for $5.99 and went back for a third slice being as good as it was. You can easily get away with a sizable lunch for under $10 here and for a couple more bucks splurge for the chicken specialty items.

Nikis menu boardI think we were helped by Niki himself and immediately felt the pride in ownership and attention to customer service. Food was prepared quickly and presentation was what you might expect from a pizza joint – couple of slices on a plate…here you go. Plenty of seating for the early lunch crowd and more folks poured in as we sat and ate – many who looked as though
they relied on this place and had been coming for years. Seemed like ample parking for us early birds but plenty of overflow Nikis from parking lotavailable from neighboring lots if needed. I did not experience the bathroom so will have to hold comment there.

Overall I would rate this experience 4.2 out of 5 – not much in terms of atmosphere but great food, great service at a great price! I can’t wait to go back and/or take home a whole pie!
